Everything you need to make a screenshot worth sharing

Six tools that cover 95% of what designers, creators, and devs reach for — wired into one Chrome popup.

🖥️

11 device mockups

MacBook Pro, iPhone 15 Pro, iPad, Pixel 8, Surface, browser windows, and more — all crisp vector frames.

✏️

Rich annotations

Text, arrows, lines, rectangles, ellipses, freehand. Move, resize, layer — like a tiny Figma for screenshots.

🎲

3D tilt perspective

Dual-axis rotation + perspective + scale, rendered in Canvas. No WebGL bloat, no dependency hell.

🌈

100+ backgrounds

50 abstract gradients + 50 patterns built in. Upload your own image when you need brand colors.

📐

8 social presets

Twitter post, Instagram square/story, Facebook cover, Product Hunt, Dribbble, Open Graph — one click resize.

🔒

Fully local — no upload

Everything runs in your browser. No account, no server, no telemetry. Your screenshots never leave your laptop.

Built for people who ship every day

Content creators

Drop a raw screenshot into a clean device frame, add a punchy headline, export to Twitter card size. Done in 20 seconds.

Product marketers

Build a feature gallery for your landing page without firing up Figma. Consistent device frames, consistent backgrounds.

Indie devs

Ship better changelog screenshots, App Store listings, and OSS README hero images — without a designer.

Tech writers

Annotate UI flows for tutorials. Arrows that don't look like 2010 PowerPoint.

Install ShotMagic

Chrome Web Store listing is in review. For now, install the unpacked extension — takes 30 seconds.

  1. ⬇ Download ShotMagic (.zip)
  2. Unzip anywhere on your machine.
  3. Open chrome://extensions in Chrome.
  4. Toggle Developer mode (top-right).
  5. Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped folder.
  6. Pin ShotMagic to your toolbar. Done. 🎉

The same .zip you'd get from the Web Store, just loaded by yourself.

FAQ

Is it really free?

Yes — fully free, no upsell. The whole tool runs in your browser using your machine's CPU, so there's no server cost to fund.

Do you upload my screenshots?

No. Everything happens in an offscreen Chrome document on your device. There is no backend, no analytics, no telemetry pinging home.

Why not Chrome Web Store?

We're submitting it. Until approval lands, install the .zip below in Developer Mode — same code, same security boundary.

Will it work on Firefox / Edge / Brave?

Edge and Brave (Chromium-based) work today via Developer Mode load. A proper Firefox port is on the roadmap.

Will there ever be a paid tier?

No current plans. The whole tool is free and stays free. If we ever add server-bound extras (think team libraries or cross-device sync), those would be optional — the local toolkit you see today won't move behind a paywall.
